Questions about frankenstein-alot..how is suspense created in the novel, how effective is foreshadowing?
who are the major characters? how to female characters figure into the plot? how does conflict figure into the plot-is it primarily intellectual, moral or emotional? what are the three storylines in the novel? how do they develop? which characters are involved in each? how does mary shelley reveal characters in the novel? how do they change/grow? can the characters follow any other path than the one set out for them? why does mary shelley write about victor's childhood? why is his early life imporant to the plot? how does the concept og hubris figure into the plot? are the character propelled by fate ot something more psychological? does the saying "like father like son" apply to the relationship between victor frankenstein and the monster? how are they similar/different? how do they each develope? any answers to these questions would be greatly appreciated.
