Anyone who knows what they are talking about please help! I need it badly!?

Is there a doctor out there or any one familiar of this as to know what else to help this? I recently went to the hospital for asthma treatment. Had a breathing mist machine treat. and steriod pill treat. I got home and still have this persistant dry tickeling cough to the point all my muscles/head/back everything hurts from trying to cough. It feels like nothing is going to come up and I keep coughing at 10 minutes at time until a little clear phlegm comes out. Sometimes the cough is soo severe I end up feeling like I am going to vomit. There is nothing to vomit or any congestion to give up. I can't eat really because of this, well I don't want to that is because all I do for the last days is this sever hurting cough for 24 hours a day.All I have in my system is water and medicines to "help." Robitussen Codiene isn't helping. I don't need to go back to the hospital my breathing is fine. I just need a cure for this miserble 24 hour a day severe cough. I haven't slept for 4 days either!
